Climate Adaptation Policies ... in France, in 2026
Following the 2003 heatwave, which caused 19,000 deaths, the French blamed politicians for inaction on climate change. In response, they came up with the idea of imposing a day of unpaid forced labor per year to prevent another tragedy:
We called it: «Day of Solidarity with the Elderly and Disabled»
And it will bring in 2 billion euros per year! Hahaha!
